Beyond Responsible AI

I was in Geneva to speak at the UN's AI for Good summit this year, on “Beyond Responsible AI.”

Responsible GenAI in Public Services

I also spoke on a WomenInGenAI panel at the WSIS Forum, “Responsible GenAI in Public Services: From Policy Principles to Deployable Workflows.” The focus was moving past high-level AI principles into the practical, governed work of actually deploying this in public services, e-government, e-health, e-learning, with human oversight and outcomes you can measure. It's close to the public-sector work I've done, so a good room to be in.

Global Dialogue on AI Governance

While I was there, I took part in the Global Dialogue on AI Governance (6–7 July). The premise: AI is reshaping economies, societies, and daily life. The opportunities are real, and so are the challenges, and no country can address either alone. The Dialogue exists so that governance reflects the priorities of all nations, not just the most technologically advanced, and so the benefits of AI are shared by all.

Home to Singapore

From here, I'm beginning a multi-country trek home to Singapore, my first time back in four years. It's wonderful to be able to travel again.
