Popagandhi

This is a filler design at the moment while I overhaul the website and put up several others (one for my work, and another for that top secret documentary thingy). Bits and pieces will not work in the meantime. How long will it take? Probably longer than it’ll take me to graduate (5 weeks).

My Flickr pro account expired just before I left, and I was hoping that I would come back to be pleasantly surprised by a renewal as a gift.. alas, I had to do it myself. All 800 photos are “now accessible”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/skinnylatte/ (the free account only showed the last 200), including “all sets”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/skinnylatte/sets/ (I’m still tidying up my sets). There’s even a new Flickr set — “Me”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/skinnylatte/sets/72157594154914226/ (Flickr stats reveal photos of self apparently draw most attention). I am now USD25 poorer, but that’s nothing compared to what my credit card bill “this month”:http://popagandhi.com/category/travel/dispatches-from-the-road/ must be like.

If you subscribe to the feeds, I’m sorry that they’ve been in a bit of a mess. We moved from Textpattern to Pixelpost to Wordpress within these short weeks. My fiddling with a couple of plugins and editing of the archives must have also led to the RSS mess, multiple posts, and updates of ‘old’ articles. Things have settled down now though I will continue to make minor cosmetic and content changes.

That is all for now. I still feel “exceedingly slow”:http://popagandhi.com/166/screeching-halt/, have trouble lying down and getting up, struggle to shower and eat on my own, can’t speak too loudly, cough, or laugh, and can’t really process sentences or instructions with more than 3 parts to them (though I can still write and think them myself).

I wish there was a plugin I could install to make myself feel better. If AJAX wasn’t so 2005, the plugin would have that too.

We’ve gone ‘live’ on Wordpress 2.0, and a new theme. It’s amazing what several days of medical leave can do for your productivity.
