Mandatory Mundane Post

But hey, there’s really nothing else there is to life than Macs, women and whiskey, and so it shows here. I’m sorry I don’t hold much appeal for Windows-only heterosexual women (though I’m perfectly happy not to), and that we’re not literary geniuses. But then again whoever said we were? We’re all terrible and we all have mundane lives, like every kind of blogger. The only “star” in “star blogger” is in our traffic, so don’t blame us for being terrible and mundane..

Just look at her - so sweeeeeeeeeet. Somebody once commented that my roving eye is now reserved for CMS, instead of women. I think that somebody is right.

Ah Adri, you have such a way with words; Macs, women and whiskey. If you drank Guinness as well I’d be heartbroken! Now for a religious and deeply personal question; what whiskies do you drink? (I do judge character on this one).

James: I’m partial to Johnnie Walker Black, Macallan 12 years, don’t mind Glenfiddich. I need more money so I can sample better whiskies, but for now these do it for me. I’m just beginning to appreciate Guinness… and I esp. love a steak and Guinness pie. :P where do you get your favourite steak and guinness pies?

A friend of mine has an Irish bar and he does Steak & Guinness, Irish Stew, Steak & Cheese and a few others so that’s where I go (Tras Street – shamusodonnells.com). My true love shall be the woman who enjoys a pint of draught Guinness as much as I do :P

My excuse is that I got into whiskey late (it was an acquired taste for me), and that I need more friends who will drink whiskey instead of beer.. but yeah, Irish whiskies, here I come. :P

I’m not a big whiskey drinker .. normally it’s on the side of a Guinness. It’s well worth trying Black Bush (from Bushmills) and my all time favourite; Redbreast. No mixers or ice allowed :)

Milo: Partially correct, ‘whisky’ normally refers to Scottish ones. However, ‘whiskey’ is used for Irish ones (and most others I believe). Since I’m Irish and pretty much only drink Irish alcohol, ‘whiskey’ it is for me :)

yah lah.. it IS wordpress MU. just that it runs wordpress 1.6. Not bad for a free hosted solution, i suppose.. but then i dunno how anyone can use it as a main blog.. can’t upload themes, can’t even manually edit existing ones. i’m just using it as my emo-blog (see sidebar) cos at least it kicks Blogger’s ass. as always.
