Terrific post! I usually run about 3 times a week. The best thing is that you can do it anywhere, anytime. And it's definitely the best way to exercise when you're travelling. I love discovering new places by going for a jog in the morning when the city is about to "wake up".

i don't know why but that particular amadou et mariam song makes me feel like... eating, not running. it's just the perfect track to be chomping a burger to on a rainy day. but maybe that's just me.

@ryu some ideas:
How about "Running with the Devil" from Van Halen?
I also get energy by listening to: "Horny As a Dandy (Original Mix)" from Mousse T. & The Dandy Warhols, "Coulibaly" as well as "La réalité" by Amadou & Mariam, "What You Waiting For? by Gwen Stefani, "Diferente Radio Edit" by Gotan Project, "Bouger bouger" by Magic System, "Summertime" by Brother Love, "Release Me" by Mae, "Tell me Why" by Black Lab and the Dub Qawwali Remixes by Gaudi.

Hey, anyone here care to share your running playlist? Been running for the past month on Visual Kei on HIGH volume. And I really mean HIGH. Looking for some new music to run with though.

My Nike Pegasus's and Structure Triax are the best. Pegasus brought me through 70.3 without a blister. Even whilst having damp feet the whole way through. And running is the best, especially with music.
