I TOOK A PICTURE WITH SONDRE LERCHE
Self-explanatory.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG.
(We’re such fangirls, we were first in line for the autograph session. Someone: “So kiasu Singaporean!” Me: “But I was the only Singaporean… and I didn’t queue! The Malaysian did! Malaysians also kiasu ok!” This is turning out to be like the I’m Malaysian, I Don’t Shower episode…)
Check out Sondre’s MySpace page (this will be the first and last time I ever link to a page on MySpace) to listen to some songs; along with thousands others last night, I think I almost melted when he played “My Hands Are Shaking”. my hands are shaking from carrying this torch for you…
Mosaic this year, as usual, was fabulous. I only managed to catch Broken Social Scene, Fujiya & Miyagi, and Sondre Lerche, skipped The Roots, Mum, Bird and Bee and Raul Midon although I really wanted to watch them. But. Sondre, last night, was one of those rare moments when you hear a band in person and fall in love all over again, like the first time you heard them.

I so should have taken a picture of you standing alone in that ‘line’, with no one around for miles, looking… focused on your purpose. :) I still have a sondre high!
