An airline that doesn’t fly!

Are We There Yet
via Gizmodo

Somewhere near Delhi, for US$4 (I suppose that’s about 160 rupees) — you can sit in Bahadur Gupta’s old Airbus 300 and have his wife and his ’static’ stewardesses serve airline food and drinks. I suppose in a country where only a small percentage of people ever get on a real plane, or out of the country, this excursion inspires those who have not yet experienced real air travel to strive towards ‘the real thing’. Let’s hope it doesn’t get too real: Bahadur Gupta’s Airbus 300 is missing a wing, and most of its tail. :)

Jai Bharat Mata and all that. I miss India like mad.

this is hilarious. I can actually imagine half (a moderate estimate at best) the people from my gradnfather's village finding this the most novel idea in the world.
  • that is very odd
  • Yikes. I wish you all the luck.
