It Was All Yellow

As a Chinese person in a predominantly Chinese country with mostly non-Chinese friends, I was always happy to partake of a good “yellow” joke (w.r.t. the skin colour of my race). I have absolutely no qualms referring to myself and my brethren as “munjen” (after the Tamil word for ‘yellow’), and almost fell laughing into the train tracks when I heard someone say the Tamil version of the “please stand behind the yellow line” announcement should mean “please push the yellow person talking loudly into the tracks”. My ex — who happens to be Bengali — had an unshakable belief that Coldplay’s “Yellow” had to do with us Chinese people. It was all yellow…

Imagine my delight, then, to find this. Starring someone I know too!

Enjoy!

WICKED!!!!! Except the part where they're running around the tree...why oh why did it have to stoop to the stereotype? I loved the part where the manjans were pushing past the dude in the elevator. So damn true. Sigh...
