Blogging About Blogging At A Blogging Seminar

September 21st, 2005  |  Published in tech  |  9 Comments

Edit: Brennan did by-the-minute coverage, Apple keynote style. Well worth a read.

Which, according to Mr Brown, means I am beyond help too.

A few things have transpired thus far:

My sole, secret purpose in blogging is to encourage eyebrow threading. Specifically, Rupini’s in Buffalo Road, in the hopes they may offer me an endorsement deal like her. (So call me, Rupini’s!)

The reason why this site is now pink is so that it complements that of my joint-speaker’s. =) (Besides, pink is my favourite colour, didn’t you know?)

Mr Brown - or Ah Gong - is reminiscing about usenet and how few things have changed since he went online (i.e. CTE is STILL jammed).

They may censor a snide little comment I made about making sure Singtel doesn’t provide the backend should we ever bring blogging into mainstream education.

Mr Brown is boasting about his site being banned by the Ministry of Education at one point. I found out I was banned when I was accessing terminals at my school library, still wearing a school uniform.

Something about being a full time student again makes me only capable of writing in point form.

Heyz! Nice meeting you at the blogging seminar. I don’t know why everyone in there has a queer facination of censorship… when they themselves don’t have control of people like us.

Ahhhh… The Ironies of Life. :)

I have suspected it all along why your blog became pink!

Hope you enjoyed yourself at the seminar.

Is your Singtel comment a reference to the inter-school moblogging competition? Because I’ve been meaning to write a rant about the (lack of) usability of their platform, but haven’t had the time to. Just looking at it makes me annoyed.

LOL. My VERY first attempt at blogging was taking part in that inter-school blogging championship. It really isn’t being used to its full potential – i don’t think my JC blog has been updated for months[but I blame that on the impending promotional exams] But what can we do, when they give us such a lame topic such as “Technology and me”?

Hmm… I haven’t tried accessing your blog from school. Shall give it a try and see whether the idiots pro-family folks of the gahmen are still blocking it. :D

People don’t see pink over this, they see RED:

“This Malay fucker just stared at me (in a rude manner) when I asked

him politely! GOT SUCH PEOPLE OR NOT YOU TELL ME! If I got a pig with

me I surely hit him with the pig.”

You gotta to be careful with the company you keep.

No one ever accused HER of being tactful and intelligent.
