Village Talk

May 22nd, 2007  |  Published in general, travel  |  11 Comments

I am going to be speaking this Friday at Village Talk, an event that promises to bring “people passionate about changing the world into one room” (yep, that’s me. I think!). Click here for more information about the event and programme. I’ll be the last speaker of the evening at 9pm — I can’t say what I’m speaking on as yet, except that it’s entitled “What Am I Doing Here: Adventures in Travel and Youth”. I hope Bruce Chatwin isn’t rolling in his grave.

Date : 25th May 2007
Time : 6.30pm to 9.30pm
Venue : Video Conferencing Room
Research Technoplaza
Nanyang Technological University

Mmm, sounds interesting… but which floor is it? I’m still not familiar with the place despite having been there regularly the past 16 weeks…

Can you make a podcast out of it? It’s kind of difficult to attend from Zurich on such short notice ;)

    Hey hey! You’re not at 9pm anymore…you’re actually at 8.30pm =)

Oh, and we’ll be recording everything so we can definitely do some kind of podcast out of it…

    Seeya!

Hmm, seems my comment, which I previously thought gobbled up by The Borg, has indeed been posted.

A pity I’m not pre-equipped with podcasting equipment, nor have the financial means to equip myself now. Looking forward to your recording, Ridz, even if I am attending, heh.
