Simple, Excellent Microsoft Ad
Score one for Microsoft — they finally get an ad that’s simple, well done, and which targets the right crowd (geeks being likely to be Battlestar Galactica addicts), though it’s admittedly an ad only insiders would grok. Now I’m just waiting for some geek to put up a parody version, linking the virus to Microsoft. I first saw it at The Hard Six, though it might have been on the official site (when I’m there I head straight for the Kara Thrace wallpapers, so I wouldn’t know).
Who else is going to show love to BSG? South Park’s Matt and Trey already did, now Microsoft. Rightly so, too — don’t let the scifi tag put you off: this show is one of the best written, most intelligent, darkest, most intense and absorbing stories to be on TV in a long time. Whatever its political undertones, and whatever your political leaning; it’s hard not to fall in love with it.

Yeah, BSG is the shit.
PS you can download “the story so far” on iTunes for free, or you can drop about $100 for all the episodes thus far and a season three season pass. It’s totally worth it, especially if you don’t have a TV.

I’m halfway through season two DVDs now. Looks like I’ll have to hit the torrents soon for season 3;)
