Malaysia to Fine Offenders of “Poor Speech”

In other news, our neighbouring country has decided to fine “offenders who mix Malay and English”, and a special unit will be set up to weed them out. (“I’m not making this up”:http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061005/ap_on_fe_st/language_police;_ylt=AvAxYzPZ22L5NDgtJUNjToSs0NUE;_ylu=X3oDMTA3NW1oMDRpBHNlYwM3NTc.)

_Mampos!_

1 _sen_ says Singapore will set up a unit to catch Singlish offenders who violate our national language of English and “all of us”:http://mrbrownshow.com/ will be the first to be detained. Because Malaysia boleh, we also boleh.
