Because buying mystery software packages without knowing what they are, for retail therapy, in a friend’s (it does feel weird to say, a friend, I think I still need to get used to it) words “it’s just like putting in a dollar into the machine at the mamashop and not knowing what you’ll get”. I always got ugly Nicky Wu trading cards or pointless lollipop rings. In the modern age the grown up and geeky equivalent to that is putting in few dollars through Paypal, for purposes of assuaging heartbreak (and buying other items online; don’t ask how), gets one an RSS ticker and a notepad replacement.
Just great. I should have known 10 years ago, when Nicky Wu kept popping out of the machine so much, that I have no luck when it comes to luck.
I either need to wean myself off evil websites, cancel my Paypal account, or stop breaking up (I think that’s a good idea). On good days, which are most days, macZOT offers good deals for people who believe in buying software. Well, and this Yoda Plush backpack and Monty Python Killer Rabbit slippers call out to me too…

I think stop breaking up is best solution for everything, hehe ;)

If you didn’t like Nicky Wu, who were you hopping to get?
If I were at the card slot machine 10 years ago, I could have traded with you!
