Before I go, can I just say - Longhorn’s new name is Windows Vista? Haha haha. “Clear, Confident, Connected: Bringing clarity to your world”. Ahem.

The dumbest and more retrograde name I’ve ever hear. With a product pitch like that, who’d take it seriously? Heck, I remember a terrain forming program long ago called Vista Pro… you remember that?

(but then you think you all very great because you all got cat names issit… wait till the mac cheetah comes out — ‘cos that’s all it does. ha ha ha.)

Unfortunately just because they’re Microsoft they get away with that.
Vick: My confidential ties to the mac mothership tells me that OS 11 will be “Wombat”.

It’s an apt name but one iteration late, as is usual for M$: vista = it’s all downhill from here. I think Windows 2000 was the closest Microsoft is getting to a good operating system for its day.

“U using which version? 2000, Me, NT, XP or Vista?”
Vista - 0_o something doesn’t sound quite right in the list…
