I received the shocking message via email, that the Knight of Pentacles had passed away in Perth. I read his site with more than a passing interest, seeing in his travails and choices somebody whose opinions and beliefs on many issues (especially on the country, freedom and migration) I shared. While I never had the chance to meet him, the comments exchanged on our respective blogs, and emails we sent each other intermittently, made me share the shock and grief of his friends, without whom I would have never known.

Regardless of whether one agrees with his choices and opinions, this man is one who had the courage to seek out his dreams, where so many of us would have faltered or opted for the easy way.

May his soul rest in that peace he had spent so much time and effort searching for.
