So I’m in Goa.
Yay. Lots of drinks, parties, and other fun things I can’t mention.
But I’m in Goa in end May – not something to be happy about. It’s pre-monsoon, in the midst of summer, so the sun was pretty vicious for the first couple of days. How’s this for a “change of weather”:http://www.wunderground.com/global/stations/43192.html?
The sea is too vicious to be in for long, and there’re thunderstorms for most of the day. Our BBQ party didn’t go as Abdul, the Morroccan-French guy, intended to: we had a ton of fish and veggies, but no charcoal. The free flow of alcohol and other um, items, made up for having to chew on fish cooked by leaves. Two iPods and their speakers for music, everybody barefoot – quick and easy party you have there. There was another party on the other side of the beach at 10 this morning, but I woke up 7 hours after it started. This is the life, but I can’t live it for very much longer. Massive hangover.
