Our rickshaw stopped at a traffic light, and just as Z. was thinking that she needed a new watch (hers just stopped), a man holding a handful of watches for sale came up to our rickshaw.
On another occasion, I was having a miserable time in a train, thinking that I needed _chai_. At least 3 chai-wallahs appeared within the next 5 minutes.
So we were sitting in a rickshaw in Agra, and as it stopped at a junction, two little boys showed up by our rickshaw and tried to sell us a chick for 10 rupees.
It begged the question: were you thinking about chicken, or were you thinking about _chicks_?
