Brokeback Politics

Taiwan President Chen Shui Bian thinks Brokeback Mountain is a good analogy to describe relations between Taiwan and the USA (I kid you not: story here). He urged both sides to reconcile, to reach the “great new world”, in which “challenges abound on this road ahead, as long as we believe in the value of this common mission and in ourselves, there is no obstacle too great or mountain too high”.
How gay is that? Wonkette thinks Taiwan must be Jake, because Taiwan is always getting screwed by Heath Ledger (i.e. the United States).
I can’t help but see flashes of George Bush and Ah-Bian getting it on on a Texas ranch or a Hualian farm; imagery which has understandably caused some degree of mental incapacitation, so I regret to say I’m not able to bring this analogy any further.
Eww.

Ah Bian is such an embarassment to my country. Sometimes I really question the things that come to his head…

Ah Bian should apply that analogy with Communist China, instead of US. Maybe he fears the size of mainland China, compared to a lame bush.
Worse, imagine Ah Bian telling Singapore and Malaysia to produce Bukit Brokeback….with the crooked bridge…ewwwwwwww

OHMYGOD! that is the absolute worst imagery i can ever have. firstly, george bush having any FORM of sexual relations. secondly, george bush screwing a shrivelly old chinese man, and hitting him on the ass like a rodeo bull.
yuuuuuuuuuuuuuug.
