Switching Off the Internet

My mother came into the room last night to ask: “Can I switch off the Internet?” I mean, I knew my mother was really powerful and all, but the ability to turn off the Internet kind of like, takes it to a whole new level. I’ve tried to introduce the terms modem and router, but to no avail. (Update: I just remembered she does know the term router, but as rooster instead. As in, “I went to Sim Lim with my daughter today to buy a rooster for Grace.”
