If You See This

We’ve gone ‘live’ on Wordpress 2.0, and a new theme. It’s amazing what several days of medical leave can do for your productivity.
If you’re viewing through a feedreader, you don’t have to do anything, and there is a new comments feed for you.

Yeah Baby, yeah. Ain’t WP2 grand? Comments feed is a welcome return from yore.

Yes indeed, WP2 is lovely. I will be writing a review about it soon. Hope you had a good time with the festivities back home.

What happened to textpattern? Banished?

I’m the fickle lover who can’t decide between WP and TXP..

Just finished my own upgrade too. Still far less painless than it should be… but what to do, must keep up with the times. If you’re using ecto do note that there’s something about the XMLRPC file that borks uploads…

Trackback is indeed badly broken. But using ecto.. has been fixed. Just grab the latest nightly builds if you really need it. haha
But wp 2.0 is lovely. especially when working with pictures in posts

TXP is WP’s bitch would also be a good reason to use WP2 :) Another, slightly more useful, one would be the number of plugins for WP like this one: http://noprerequisite.com/2004/06/08/language-picker-plugin-version-9/
Popagandhi > Festivities were good - very laid back and I didn’t go mad drinking :) So very relaxing there and I don’t have to go back to work until Monday, so I’m commenting on blogs at whatnot more than I normally do :)

Unfortunately, James, unless I get up to speed with my learning of Hindi, I doubt I’m going to be writing in another language soon.. not enough to merit a ‘language-picker’ plugin anyway.

With the plugin you could write in Singlish and English! I think it’s neat for people who might want to make posts available in several languages - great if you had a multi-national blog. Might look into that a bit more …
