Looking at me now one can scarcely tell there’s a project and a term paper due within days, neither of which are significantly near completion; nor does it seem evident that within two weeks, this term shall have passed, I will be legally able to enjoy short travel, alcohol, and guiltless time spent doing nothing.
But beneath it all, I’m really a bundle of nerves. It feels as if I’ve been languishing in the last couple of years, and all of a sudden at 20, I’m suddenly ambitious, suddenly driven, suddenly that annoying kid who thinks getting 85% can be significantly improved upon.
So I’m going to have to need to take a sabbatical from blogging and from the rest of my life, before I scare myself any longer. If you told me last year I would be preparing for presentations + writing term papers + tweaking cover letters and resumes for internships + studying for exams, I would laugh in your face.
Regular programming to resume shortly. I’ll leave you with “this”:http://www.geekculture.com/joyoftech/joyarchives/750.html to amuse yourselves with (caution: geek humour ahead).
