In a bid to clear the space on my bookshelf (and to earn some money for year-end travelling December fuel surcharges are seriously threatening my ability and desire to travel out), I’ve decided to put out a couple of things for sale. And where else would be better to advertise than the book-loving crowd I’ve got here? Great CDs and bags and other assorted things I can bear to sell are next.
*Fiction*
Martin Amis, Dead Babies — $6
Martin Amis, Money — $6
Martin Amis, Yellow Dog (hardcover) — S$12

(All of these authors need no introduction, I presume. Take the whole set of these, for $22 too.)
Irvine Welsh, Trainspotting — $5
Irvine Weslh, Ecstasy — $5
Irvine Welsh, 4Play — $5
(Take all the Irvine Welsh for $12.)
Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse — $4
Jeanette Winterson, Art and Lies — $5

_Plays_
Fat Virgins, Fast Cars, and Asian Values — $5
(A collection of 9 local plays from Theatreworks’ Writers’ Lab)
*Travel-Related*
Malaysia Tatler’s “Malaysia’s Best Restaurants 2005″ — $4
Foodster’s Guide 2005/06 (published by “Friedchillies”:http://friedchillies.com/foodstersguide.php) — $4
(both are excellent if you’re planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur soon; the Foodster’s Guide, for example, has annotated, hand drawn maps of _makan_ areas like Jalan Alor and Petaling St, as well as restaurant reviews and feature articles; while the former is similar to Tatler Singapore’s Best Restaurants.)
Lonely Planet Cambodia (2005) — $5 (this is, I think, a high quality ‘copy’ purchased in Siem Reap, but in full colour and full text, only slightly misaligned on some pages; but how was I to know then?) You get a a copy of Visitors’ Guide to Siem Reap and Phnom Penh (May 2005) thrown in.
Footprint India 13th Edition — $40 (purchased in Kinokuniya in July 2005 for S$72. If $40 isn’t met, then I won’t sell it at all).
Condition of all the novels and local poetry is excellent; I’d rate them between 8/10 and 9/10, with those in lesser conditions only slightly yellowed with age. No books go bad with me. The Singaporean novels and plays are only slightly aged. Footprint India is 9.5/10 it looks like something you just picked up from Kinokuniya, but minus the shrinkwrap. Email or leave a comment to reserve; all books to be self-collected from SMU, or similar.
