Kittens and Children
For most couples, talking about having children is a sure sign of jumping the gun. For us, talking about having kittens is the equivalent.
Z: No, no, no children.. you can have them if you want. We’ve having kittens. Children grow up and turn into.. monster five year olds.. and twelve year olds.
Me: Do you really think kittens are really that drastically different from children? They do grow up, move out, have lots of sex, and get pregnant, too.
Z: Yes, but we can always give the babies away.
Me: Good point. But what are we going to do when we find out our kitten is gay?
Z: I don’t care, she won’t get pregnant that way.
Me: And when we find out our gay kitten wants babies with her partner? What are we going to do then?
Z: Let her adopt kittens of her own.

masqueraded – Well.. I suppose I’ve sort of been acclimatized to peculiar behaviour in general. Besides, I’m a cat-person too. These two are in the process of acquiring 2 of my 3 for their god-cats. :D
and how do u figure out your lesbian cat wants babies? how does she express that?
when my lesbian cat wants babies, she will start catnapping the kittens from the neighbourhood. or start meowing/weeping whenever she sees baby kittens, like i do (with baby kittens and baby humans). i want a baby now now now.
